Student Guide

A completed Scholarship Notebook is your official application for a scholarship and is compiled by you according to the standardized format explained in our downloadable Student Guide.  Scholarship notebooks provide the Selection Panel and donors the means to match students with their awards. Your notebook will include a resume, a personal essay, your transcript, letters of recommendation, work experience, interests both inside and outside of school, and future plans and schemes.

** CORRECTION: In the Zoom session, Brian mentioned that scholarship notebooks can be in Spanish. To clarify, we have a Spanish version of the Student Guide, and VHS has support for Spanish-speaking seniors, but scholarship notebooks should be in English so that they can be reviewed by scholarship donors and our community panel.
